Integrated Pilates Tacoma is a Pilates cooperative space, allowing teachers and serious students to work and practice individually while sharing resources.
We study and practice the lineage of Joseph Pilates' student Eve Gentry. She created the Gentry Technique, a form of movement analysis and Fundamental Pattern training that helps any student learn the proper way to perform the Pilates technique. We've built on these strong foundations by adding Somatic Movement Practices, Embodied Anatomy, and a focus on the Inner Practices of Pilates - Breathing, Relaxation, Concentration, Control, Coordination, Precision, and Flow.
Our studio offers private and duo sessions by appointment, some mat classes (please inquire for schedule), workshops, teacher training, and continuing education.
IPT is not a standard studio, we are individuals who are self-employed, teaching part-time on our own schedule, in our own ways, with our own individual price structures.

This is a modification of roll backs picked up along the way. I wish I could remember who to give credit to, but my mind has long forgotten. I have a pet peeve about highjacking the legs to do this, something I work on. Sometimes I do better than others.

Please come in something comfortable. No buttons or zippers. Socks with stickies or not. You decide to wear shorts please keep in mind that if they are baggie in the leg, I will most likely be able to see up them at some point.
There is no eating during pilates. I do have water on site if you would like to refill your water bottle. As for eating right before class, you can, but I wouldn't.
I do not have a changing room in my studio, I do have a bathroom in the building that students have used to change.
A few documents that you can print and fill out to bring with you to your first lesson with Liza or Jazmin.
If you would rather fill out in person at the time of your first lesson that is also a option.
